I have Arthritis and I sometimes need help with opening lids and caps off jars and bottles. This product is the only thing I've found that helps. It doesn't just grip the lid better, it allows me to open the jar with very little effort. I like the Jar opener so much, that I ordered a 2nd one as a gift.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands and opening jars, etc. was becoming a real challenge. This thing works great! I haven't had any trouble opening any jars so far. Also, the opener works well, too. Those tabs on cans aren't much fun with arthritis either. Now, it's a snap.
The jar opener works great once you align jar properly. I did have a little difficulty using the multi tool opener only because of my awkwardness using my non dominant hand. I’m sure it will be very helpful once my cast is off and my hand is functional.
I called GE parts they wanted $70 plus shipping, said no thank I’ll live with a dark freezer. Went on Amazon later in the day found what I needed @71% less got it the next day. Exact replacement couldn’t be happier!!!
